FESTIVAL IN THE LAND OF THE VIKINGS
In its 35th year, the Göteborg International Film Festival is coming to film buffs this year from January 25 to February 4. The festival is gearing up to bring 450 independent films from 60 countries to upwards of 115,000 viewers.
THE DRAGON AWARDS
Singling out dozens of films in years past, the Dragon Awards are one of the festival’s most eagerly awaited events.
THE DUTCH TIGER
Rotterdam International Film Festival (IFFR), January 23 to February 3, is getting ready to welcome upwards of 350,000 viewers this year. The festival’s Tiger Awards go to short films while the Bright Future section showcases new talents and the Spectrum section experienced directors and producers.
