Dear Passengers,

We are continuing to introduce new services for our passengers. We are progressing with plans to ensure that ground services provide the same level of convenience and comfort as passengers enjoy on board our aircraft.
As part of this project, we have launched the 'return check-in' procedure for domestic passengers travelling back on return flights the same day. This new facility is now available on flights between Istanbul, Ankara, Yzmir, Antalya, Adana, Bodrum, Dalaman and Trabzon, for passengers with bookings on outward and return flights and carrying only hand baggage. These passengers are able to complete check-in formalities on the outward journey. All they have to do is to request 'return check-in' when they arrive at the airport for the outward journey.

Another new service to be launched shortly is the purchase of tickets over the Internet. Our web site, which has been in operation since 1996, is currently being adapted to allow electronic purchases. Within the year 2001 passengers resident in Turkey will be able to purchase tickets for flights out of Turkey, while passengers resident in Britain and the United States will be able to purchase tickets for flights out of those countries via the Turkish Airlines web site. For flights out of Istanbul, passengers will be able to collect their tickets at the airport as an alternative to having their tickets sent by post or collecting them from Turkish airline offices.
