2002 / FEBRUARY

Dear Passengers,

As we enter the busy summer holiday season, favourable developments for both the country as a whole and our national carrier are presenting a bright outlook.
Our foreign guests arriving to spend their holidays in Turkey are raising our passenger load factor to maximum levels, and to meet high demand to destinations like Antalya, Bodrum and Dalaman additional domestic flights are being laid on. We are fully confident that with the contribution of our flights to Turkish tourism, the summer season will be a resounding success.

Undoubtedly the heart of Turkey will be beating with our national team in Korea and Japan in June. We are proud to proclaim the support of Turkish Airlines for our national team on the fusilage of our Airbus 340 'Aydın' aircraft which carried the team to the Far East for the World Cup 2002, and wish them every success.
In the exciting lead-up to the World Cup, our flights to Seoul and Osaka are operating at 94 percent passenger capacity. Demand for our flights to China is also high, and from 30 June we are increasing frequency to four flights per week. Meanwhile our surprise offers for special occasions are continuing.
