THE INTERNATIONAL RENDEZ-VOUS FILM FESTIVAL IS AWAITING CINEMA BUFFS DECEMBER 14 TO 20.
In its 15th year, the festival is kicking off with a remake of Anna Karenina, which already looks like garnering an Oscar nomination. Mounted by the TÜRSAK Foundation, the festival this year is adding venues like Beyoğlu Cinemaximum Fitaş and Levent Cinemaximum Kanyon to its free screenings of documentaries and shorts at the French Culture Center. Don’t miss this last film festival of the year in Istanbul.

If you are a student, you can get free tickets! Ten tickets will be left daily at certain cafes and box offices of venues where films are to be shown. Just show your pass by 10 a.m.
BELGIAN CINEMA AT BE
One of the most prominent platforms for promoting Belgian film, the Be Film Festival is taking place in Brussels, December 26 to 30. The festival brings viewers a selection of films from the year’s major European festivals like Cannes, Berlin and Venice.
