Codeshare Agreement With Air Canada
Codeshare Agreement With Air Canada
Turkish Airlines and Air Canada have signed a codeshare agreement. The agreement, which will support Air Canada’s planned Toronto-Istanbul route by making it easy and convenient for passengers to make connecting flights on both airlines, will go into effect this coming summer following Canadian government approval. Air Canada CEO Calin Rovinescu said recently in an announcement: “The agreement will ensure our passengers seamless connections via Istanbul to all points in Turkey, Central Asia, Africa and the Middle East on a single itinerary.” In the announcement he made, Turkish Airlines’ CEO Temel Kotil, Ph.D, said: “Thanks to the seamless service the agreement will bring, we will have a chance to transfer our passengers to more U.S. and Canadian domestic destinations via Toronto by connecting our networks.”
