Holidays And Architecture
Holidays And Architecture
The second of the exhibitions being mounted in the Vitra Contemporary Architecture series is at İstanbul Modern until April 7.
The title of the show, based on the theme of ‘tourism buildings’, is cleverly taken from the Please Do Not Disturb signs we are accustomed to leaving on the door of our hotel room. The six young artists featured question how individuals intent on overcoming an entire year’s fatigue in 15 short days perceive their holiday facilities.
