World-famous pianists come to Antalya

The Metropolitan Municipality of Antalya, under art director Fazıl Say, is bringing music lovers a series of world-renowned pianists in the 7th International Antalya Piano Festival, organized in a cooperation between the Antalya Foundation for Art and Culture and Kadir Dursun Productions. The theme of the festival, to take place 3-25 November, is ‘Mozart in Antalya’. In his concerts on 3 and 4 November Fazıl Say, together with the Patara Quartet, will perform a piece called ‘Patara’, which he composed in memory of Mozart. Other festival concerts include: pianist Michel Camilo and guitarist Tomatito, 9 November; Muhiddin Dürrüoğlu and Emre Şen, 11 November; Ju Hee Suh, 14 November; pianist Jean Philippe Collard, recipient of the coveted ‘Legion D’Honneur’, 17 November; violinist Verda Erman, 21 November; and Miriam Mendez, the flamenco world’s ‘Carmen Amaya’ of the piano, 21 November.
