Book on Hattusha

A first in archaeology has been achieved with the completion of the reconstruction of the Hittite City Walls at Hattusha, an Historic National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Conducted by the German Archaeological Institute, the project has been published as a book, ‘A Mudbrick City Wall at Hattusha: Diary of a Reconstruction’, by Dr. Jürgen Seeher, former director of the Hattusha dig. The 232-page book, which gives comprehensive information on planning, organization and practice in the Hittite period, was published by Ege Yayınları.
