The tulip festival pervades the city

Part and parcel of Istanbul for its dazzling colors and beauty, the tulip is coming to the city’s residents for the first time in a different dimension in the ‘Tulip Sculpture and Design Exhibition’. The tulip sculptures, designed for an itinerant exhibition being held this year for the first time, will greet art lovers all over Istanbul between 16 April and 1 July. Created by close to a hundred artists, the works in this exhibition on the tulip theme exhibit traces of Turkey’s cultural values. They can be seen throughout the exhibition over a broad swath of Istanbul stretching from Taksim to Beşiktas, Nişantaşı, Bebek, Emirgan Park, Sultanahmet, Ayasofya, Topkapı Palace, the Egyptian (Spice) Bazaar, Göztepe Park and Bağdat Caddesi and in the city’s major shopping malls such as Akmerkez, İstinyePark, Milli Reasürans Çarşısı, City’s Nişantaşı, Cevahir and Tepe Nautilus.
