Printed in 2003 but little advertised, Kayıp Gül/Lost Rose, has come back as a best-seller translated into 27 languages.

Serdar Özkan’s first novel, Lost Rose has been brought out in an English edition. The Turkish edition won’t be out until October. Starting in America and ending in Turkey, the story of Diana and her search for her lost twin draws the reader into her dreams. And it does so in the style of Exupéry’s Little Prince, Richard Bach’s Seagull and Paulo Coelho’s The Alchemist.
