İlhan Erşahin and his musician friends are coming to Istanbul for the ‘Nublu Jazz Festival’, taking place this year for the first time as part of Garanti Jazz Green. Visit www.babylon.com.tr for the guests of this festival, which will be held at Babylon March 2-11.
‘Outlet’ at Tophane is hosting an exhibition titled ‘Under the Counter’ by Holland-based artist 510, whose work is familiar to us from the 9th Istanbul Biennial. March 3 through April 10.
The Istanbul State Theater, which marks its 30th anniversary this year, has added a new play to its repertoire: ‘The Clean House’. Written by Sarah Ruhl and directed by Kubilay Karslıoğlu, it stars Sema Çeyrekbaşı, Simay Küçük, Gülseren Gürtunca, Levent Güner and Neslihan Arslan. Other plays running at the Istanbul State Theater in March include: My Mother’s Courage, The Professional, İmparatorluk Kuranlar, Rita’s Song, The God of Carnage, Two Times Two, The Credit Card Incident, Lausanne, Kül Bellek, Code Name Tango, Töre, and Socrates’ Last Night.
