On The Bosphorus

One of the first names that springs to mind at the mention of Heavy Metal, Ozzy Osbourne is in Istanbul.

Ozzy Osbourne, whose fans are especially enamored of his stage performances, is giving a concert at Turkcell’s Kuruçeşme Arena overlooking the Istanbul Bosphorus on September 30th.  The Istanbul performance of this artist, whose concerts are a festival in their own right, is eagerly awaited.  In a recent interview Osbourne said that he always plays something special when he goes to a new place. Let’s see what surprise he has in store for Istanbul.

Osbourne brought out his 10th solo album, ‘Scream’, just a few months ago while the 30th year versions of his albums ‘Blizzard of Ozz’ (1980) and ‘Diary of a Madman’ (1981) were still high on the charts. Noteworthy on this album is that Zakk Wylde, veteran guitarist of all the albums released up to now, has been replaced by a 28-year-old Greek guitarist by the name of Gus G. (His real name is Kostas Karamitroudis)
A piece of good news for Osbourne fans: The artisti’s biography, ‘I Am Ozzy’, is being adapted for the silver screen. The artist has asked that an unknown actor be
chosen to play him.
