Cycling Pros on Turkey Tour
Among the sports events held in the country, the presıdentıal cycling tour of Turkey is steadıly growing, putting its name on the list of best cyclıng tours in the world.
And it’s starting for the 48th edition on april 22. This year’s European Capital of Sports, Istanbul is hosting the final leg of the Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey, which starts in Alanya on April 22. The route for the tour, which consists of a total eight legs, simultaneously offers cyclists a good opportunity to see the country’s places of historic interest and natural beauty.
As well as starting point Alanya, the tour, with primary sponsorship by Turkish Airlines, runs through Antalya, Fethiye, Bodrum, Kuşadası and İzmir’. Sports enthusiasts keen to follow the fast-peddling cyclists will also enjoy a fabulous touristic itinerary. The Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey is of critical importance for promoting the country abroad due to the number of key touristic sites along its route.Upwards of twentyfive international teams are taking part in this year’s tour, which is offering viewers around Turkey some incredible sights.

2nd STAGE: Alanya - Kemer: Aspendos Amphitheater (Antalya)
3rd STAGE: Tekirova - Elmalı: Gelidonya Lighthouse (Adrasan)
4th STAGE: Fethiye - Marmaris: Ölüdeniz Lagoon (Fethiye)
5th STAGE: Marmaris - Turgutreis: Quarter of Saburhane (Muğla)
6th STAGE: Bodrum - Kuşadadası: Lake Bafa (Milas)
7th STAGE: Efes - Izmir: Ancient City of Ephesus
