Winds of Cinema in The Fall

October, when fall makes itself felt in earnest, is a special time for film lovers. A cinema marathon eagerly awaited every year for the last ten years, the filmekimi kicked off on September 29.

In its 11th year, Filmekimi this year will be entertaining cinephiles through October 7 with 17 films to be shown at the Atlas, Beyoğlu and Nişantaşi City’s cinemas. What’s more, this year for the second time Filmekimi is going beyond Istanbul and branching out to Anatolia with a special selection of films to be shown at Izmir Karaca Cinema, October 5 to 7, at Ankara Kızılırmak Magic Lantern Cinema and Erzurum Cinetekno Cinema, October 12 to 14, and at Gaziantep Nakıp Ali Cinema and Diyarbakır Avrupa Cinema, October 19 to 21.
