Turkish Airlines second in Europe in on-time takeoffs

Turkish Airlines’ 2006 success in on-time takeoffs is continuing this year as well.

Turkish Airlines raised its on-time-take off rate, one of the Association of European Airline’s (AEA) criteria for assessing service quality, to 83.9% in 2006 thanks to its successful operations and the dedicated efforts of its employees. With this takeoff rate, Turkish Airlines placed second among Europe’s top ten airlines. Chalking up an on-time takeoff rate of 86.7% in the first quarter of 2007 as well, Turkish Airlines also came in second among European airlines in lost baggage with only 4.7 bags lost per 1000 passengers in 2006.
