Operating profit, a Turkish Airlines record

Turkish Airlines’ consolidated financial tables for 2007 have been announced on the Istanbul Stock Exchange. According to the tables, Turkish Airlines broke a record in 2007 with a net operating profit of TL 546 million.

Despite a net exchange rate loss in the balance sheet stemming from the falling exchange rates, net period profit was 63 percent over that of the previous year at TL 292 million. Based on these results, the operating profit margin was 11.44% and the net profit margin 6.12 percent for the year.
