  • Dakar flights get under way

    Flights have begun to Turkish Airlines’ new destination, Dakar (Senegal), Africa’s gateway to the West.

    Inauguration of the flights, which will be twice weekly, was celebrated at a cocktail reception in Dakar on 10 May. Present at the reception were Turkish Airlines’ Director of Business Development Haşmet Gökırmak, Turkey’s ambassador to Senegal Ali Kaya Savut, Chairman of the Turkish Cooperation and Development Administration (TIKA) Mahmut Urhan, Senegal Airport Director Mbaye Ndiaye, and Director of Air Transport for Senegal Civil Aviation (ANACS) Mouhamed Mansourla together with agents, airline representatives and members of the press.
