Turkish Airlines’ Fleet Set To Expand

Turkish Airlines has put its signature on yet another new decision, this time to add to its fleet a total of 35 aircraft, 15 on option, from the Boeing 737 New Generation family. This second decision comes on the heels of an earlier announced decision to purchase 105 single-aisle aircraft, 30 on option. The new aircraft will consist of the Boeing 737-800 and 737-900 ER models. The planes slated for purchase will begin arriving in 2011 and will enter the fleet by 2015.
