Star Alliance And Round The World

A global airline alliance, the Star Alliance welcomed IATA agents and the leading names in the aviation sector at a ‘Farewell to 2010’ cocktail reception at Istanbul’s Conrad Hotel on December 13, 2010.

In a presentation he made at the meeting, realized under the leadership of Turkish Airlines, the airline’s President  of Marketing and Sales, Mr. M. Akif Konar, briefed guests about Star Alliance’s 14 different products: Round the World, as well as the 3 regional ‘Circle Pass’ and 10 “Airpass” products. Based on the concept, “Around the World with Star Alliance”, the promotion of the Round the World product was realized jointly by Turkish Airlines and Star Alliance-members Aegean, Adria, Austrian, BMI, Lufthansa, Egypt Air, Singapore Airlines, Swiss, LOT Polish Airlines, all of which
are active in the
Turkish market.
