Cabin Crew Training

In the airline sector Flight Security is of principal importance. In accordance with this principle flight teams are trained in special institutions which offer training in line with international airline standards.

At the TK Flight Training Center theoretical courses developed by the use of computers are given in classes equipped with a data-video projection system. After the initial theoretical training Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer and Cabin Service Trainer simulators are used to offer the opportunity of practising what has already been taught theoretically.

According to "ICAO, Annex 6,Chapter 12, JAR-OPS I subpart O" TK has the privilege of being the sole institution responsible for flight training programs in Turkey. The training is carried out by competent trainers.

Initial Training

The very first training for the new cabin attendants covers the following issues:

        • Dangerous Goods, etc.

        • De-compression
        • Bomb & Hi-jack
        • Evacuation (Land & Ditching)

        • Practical Training for Emergency Evacuation

Recurrent Training

All cabin crew members have to undergo Recurrent Training every twelve months.

Differences Training

The Differences Training covers the differences of different types of aircraft.

Refresher Training

Cabin crew members absent from flying duties for more than 6 months must undergo this training.
