Changes made to the itinerary:

Once the free or companion tickets are issued, the flight times / dates can be changed and re-routing is permitted (only on Turkish Airlines flights provided that the reservation is made for the same award zone, the same season and the same award class) within the validity of the ticket at an extra charge mentioned below. Re-routing may be subject to an additional tax which must be paid by the member.

When requesting reservation changes on companion tickets, please remember to pay attention to the requirement of travel together with the member holding a paid ticket either on the outbound flight.

  • For Domestic Flights: EUR 20
  • For International Flights: EUR 20

If no-show* occurs, a fee of EUR 40 for domestic award tickets and EUR 40 for international award tickets will be charged.

For itinerary changes in domestic flights which are in connection with international flights, the fees for international flights will be applied.

Mileage Return:

If you cannot use a flight award after it has been issued, you can re-credit your miles to your account at an extra charge given below provided that no part of the valid award ticket or the upgraded flight coupon has been used.
The miles credited back are valid from the crediting date.
Airport taxes are subject to regular refund procedures.

If no-show occurs, a fee of EUR 40 for domestic award tickets and EUR 40 for international award tickets will be charged.

In case of the cancellation of upgrade transactions just before the flight EUR 20 for domestic flights and EUR 20 for international flights will be charged.
EUR 40 for domestic flights and EUR 40 for international flights will be charged in the case of no-show for mileage refund.

You must present your Miles&Smiles card at Turkish Airlines Sales Offices while having your itinerary changed and performing transactions for re-crediting miles.

Travel agents are not authorized to perform these services.

* No-show: Passengers, who fail to complete check-in formalities due to late arrival at the airport or because of invalid travel documents, will be considered as a no-show
