If an unexpired passport with a valid Schengen visa inside , is only renewed because of that there are no empty pages left ( even if there is a cancel stamp ) is permitted to enter Spain.Schengen visas in invalid ( expired ) passports are not accepted. Those Passengers are required to apply for a new Schengen visa to travel to Spain.
