If You Happen To Pass Through Pera And Nişantaşi In March, Be Sure To Check Out The Photography Exhibitions. Two Shows You Won’t Want To Miss Are At Pera Museum And Milli Reasürans Art Gallery.
The Real Space-Picture Space exhibition can be seen at Milli Reasurans Art Gallery through April 6. Featuring photos on the themes of ‘reality’ and ‘picture’ taken independently by Heidi Specker, Susanne Brügger and Thomas Demand, it is being mounted jointly by the Goethe Institut-Istanbul and the IFA. In the show you can observe the new face, in the artistic sense, of traditional photography hand in hand with developing digital technology.
PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE FAMOUS AT PERA
The works of Nickolas Muray, one of the most successful photographers of the 1920’s and 30’s, will be shown for the first time at the Pera Museum through April 21.
