German Columnists Visit Turkey
Some economics columnists from Germany paid a series of visits to Turkey as guests of Turkish Airlines for a briefing on Turkey’s economy, exports and fast-growing civil aviation sector. The writers visited Turkish Airlines’ Board Member and Chairman of the Turkish Association of Exporters (TIM), Mehmet Büyükekşi, and Turkish Airlines’ President & CEO, Temel Kotil, Ph.D., in their offices. Speaking about recent growth in the volume of trade between Turkey and the new destinations to which Turkish Airlines is now flying and the airline’s indirect contribution to the country’s exports, Büyükekşi and Kotil answered journalists’ questions following their talks.
