As a part of an expansion program Turkish Airlines will increase the number of flights departing from Istanbul to various international cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Beirut, Tunis, Skopje, Sanaa...
The current Istanbul-Beijing-Shanghai-Istanbul through flight of Turkish Airlines will be operated as 10 separate nonstop flights, namely 5 days Istanbul-Beijing-Istanbul and 5 days Istanbul-Shanghai-Istanbul as of June 29, 2009.
Following the recent frequency increase to its international destinations around the globe, Turkish Airlines will also raise the flight frequency to the two cities of China, Beijing and Shanghai.
Having flights presently to Beijing and Shanghai as one combined flight 5 times a week , Turkish Airlines will increase its flight frequency to these two cities 10 times a week in total by having separate flights as 5 days for Beijing and 5 days for Shanghai starting on June 29.
According to new schedule, flights to Beijing will operate every day except Tuesdays and Saturdays, and flights to Shanghai will run every day other than Mondays and Thursdays.
The fifth biggest carrier of Europe Turkish Airlines has rearranged its flights to Beirut, Tunis, Skopje, Sanaa as well.
With regard to new flight program, Sanaa flights will be raised to 4 times a week from 3 times a week starting on June 4, Tunis flights to 7 times week from 5 starting on June 23, Skopje flights to 7 times a week from 5 starting on June 8 and finally Beirut flights to 2 flights a day from 10 times a week starting on June 9.
Cargo flights to Tirana
Turkish Airlines will commence a cargo service to Tirana via Milano on June 7. The cargo service to Tirana, the capital city of Albania will operate once a week and the cargo destination points of Turkish Airlines will go up to 21.
