Direct flights to 10 more cities
On its winter schedule, which went into effect on 29 October, Turkish Airlines introduced direct flights from Istanbul to Adıyaman, Ağrı, Batman, Erzincan, Elazığ, Kahramanmaraş, Kars, Şanlıurfa, Mardin and Muş.
Previously all flights to these cities were via Ankara. With an ever younger fleet thanks to the addition of new aircraft, Turkish Airlines on its winter schedule has enriched its flight alternatives on both its domestic and its international routes. With the 24 new routes opened in 2006, Turkish Airlines has now become Europe’s fifth largest airline in terms of flight destinations with 28 on its domestic routes and 103 abroad. The 2006/2007 winter schedule will be in effect until 24 March 2007.
