A Turkish garden in Thailand
A ‘Turkish Garden’ on a love theme is adding color to the International Gardening Exhibition and Fair, being organized in Thailand’s second largest city, Chiang Mai, to celebrate the 80th birthday and 60th anniversary of the succession to the throne of the Thai king.
Expected to welcome around three million visitors, the fair is aimed at promoting and explaining Turkey’s culture and history to a broad mass of people in the Far East. ‘Turkish Garden’ is also a good opportunity for promoting Turkey in this period when Izmir is a candidate for hosting Expo 2015, the world’s largest fair. Turkish Airlines is among the institutions lending support to the Exhibition and Fair, which runs through 31 January.
