Golden racket to go to Istanbul Cup champion
As of 2007, the Istanbul Cup, one of Turkey’s two biggest international sports events, will greet tennis lovers with a new slogan, ‘Who’s the Sultan of Istanbul?’
A special racket, made of gold and incrusted with diamonds to symbolize the high position of women in Turkish culture, will be given to the three-time champion in the Istanbul Cup.
