Two ways, one exhibition
Painter Nimet Yardımcı’s and photographer Ali Ethem Keskin’s exhibition, ‘Two Ways, One Exhibition’, sponsored by the Şevket Yardımcı Foundation, is taking place 12-27 January at Istanbul’s Atatürk Cultural Center.
While Yardımcı’s oil paintings depicting classic cars take visitors on a sentimental journey, Keskin’s photographs trace a route from the Kaçkar Mountains down to the Black Sea coast. This journey, which literally redraws the cultural map of the eastern Black Sea town of Rize, reveals the little known natural beauty and cultural riches of both the town and its environs.
