Turkey is promoted in Iran
A promotional tour was organized in May in a cooperation between Turkish Airlines and the Union of Travel Agents of Turkey (TÜRSAB).
The talks, which were aimed at promoting all branches of tourism in Turkey starting with health tourism, focused on cooperation between the two countries and promotional topics. The 5-day promotional tour to the cities of Tabriz, Tehran, Shiraz, Esfahan and Meshhed enabled a total of 150 travel agents operating in Iran to hold talks with 11 hotels, agents and hospitals from Turkey. Taking part in the activities were Mehmet Kaya, Iran’s Counsel for Culture and Promotion, Ferzin Tevelkuyan, Counsel for Culture and Tourism to Turkey’s Tehran Embassy, Emin Çakmak, a Foreign Relations committee member of TÜRSAB, Turkish Airlines’ Tehran Director Fatih Kaptan and a large delegation.
