Turkish Airlines’ opens new CIP Lounge in Ankara
Turkish Airlines’ new CIP lounge, built by TAV Yapım ve İşletme A.Ş., opened for service at the International Terminal of Ankara’s Esenboğa Airport on 15 May.
Located at the top of an escalator on the right after passport control, the CIP Lounge was designed by Kudusi Burkut, a professional architect. Business Class passengers, holders of Turkish Airlines Frequent Flyer Program Miles&Smiles Elite and Elite Plus cards, and company employees who are members of the Corporate Incentive Program can make use of the CIP Lounge, which has been entirely refurbished to allow international passengers to relax in a comfortable ambience prior to flight. With an area of 142 square meters, the CIP Lounge has seating for 27 people. Passenger services at the CIP Lounge include: a rich array of food and beverages, daily Turkish and foreign newspapers, magazines, shower rooms, men’s and women’s toilets, computers, cable and wireless internet connections, TV (satellite channels), a music system, fax, an inner-city telephone line, a laser printer, monitors for following flight information, a cloakroom, a smoking section and an in-lounge announcement system.
