Turkish Airlines is chief sponsor of Istanbul Cup
Founded by Garanti Koza with Turkish Airlines and Spot Toto as chief sponsors, and one of 63 tournaments in the Sony Ericsson WTA, the Istanbul Cup, which is being held this year for the 3rd time, will kick off in 19-20 May with ten elimination matches.
The major part of the 3rd Istanbul Cup Tennis Tournament, one of the world’s most popular tennis events which is putting Turkey on the world tennis map, is being held this year at the Tekstilkent Arena 21-26 May. The tournament will allow Istanbul residents to watch big names like world-renowned U.S. tennis player Venus Williams, who is taking part in the Istanbul Cup for the second time, and Russia’s star racket, Elena Dementieva.
