Turkish Airlines is primary sponsor of national teams
Turkish Airlines has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Football Federation as part of its continuing efforts to combine its success in aviation with social, cultural and sports activities that will benefit Turkey.
The signing ceremony, which was held at the Turkish Technic hangar on 25 March, was attended by Turkish Airlines Board Chairman Dr. Candan Karlıtekin, President Temel Kotil, Ph.D., deputy chairman of the board Hamdi Topçu, Football Federation President Hasan Doğan, the Football Federation board of directors, and National Team members and technical support staff. Under the protocol that was signed, Turkish Airlines guarantees that all players, referees, observers and other employees of the Federation’s National Teams traveling either individually or in groups, as well as players, managers and members of the football branch clubs in the Turkcell Super League flying in contingents of at least 16 persons, will benefit from the terms of the agreement for one year.
