Peace concert at Brussels: 'Music Beyond the Conflicts”
A Turkish organization of civil society, TR Plus-Centre for Turkey in Europe is giving a Peace Concert on 3 December at the prestigious Beaux-Arts art center in European Union capital Brussels.
The concert will be used to promote Istanbul 2010 Capital of Culture abroad. International intellectual figures, members of the EU Commission and members of the European media are expected to be invited to the concert, to be presented by renowned piano virtuosos from nine different communities and countries (Turkey, the Turkish Armenian community, the Turkish Jewish community, Northern Cyprus, Southern Cyprus, the U.S., Iran and Egypt).
