Art get-together in Belgium
Evren Erbatur, a research assistant in the Acting Department of Maltepe University’s School of Fine Arts, is taking part in a series of events being organized this month in the Belgian cities of Antwerp and Brussels.
Held this year for the third time, the 0090 Art Festival is a platform that aims to bring together artists working especially in the fields of art and dance in Turkey and Belgium. The musicians, dancers and theater artists invited from Turkey every year perform for Belgian audiences in venues such as Antwerp’s De Singel, Zuiderpershuis and Arenbergschouwburg. ‘0090’ is regarded as a significant amalgam of the artistic and cultural offerings of Istanbul, which is slated to be the European Capital of Culture in 2010.
