Aleppo flights under way
Turkish Airlines made its first flight to Aleppo on 15 May with Airline President, Temel Kotil, Ph.D., on board.
Passengers and crew on the flight were greeted with flowers by the Deputy Governor of Aleppo, Abdelkader Jazmati, and Syrian Airlines' President, Ghaida Abdullatif. Following a ceremony organized in honor of the occasion, a cocktail reception for guests was held in the Aleppo Airport VIP Lounge. The round-trip Istanbul-Aleppo flights are on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 11:50 p.m., the Aleppo-Istanbul flights on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 3:45 a.m.
