Turkish films go to America
Aimed at bringing producers, investors, distributors, actors and directors from the American film industry together with their counterparts in the Turkish film sector, ‘Turkish Films Promotion Days’ are being held this year in the U.S. cities of Washington, D.C., 9-12 June, and New York City, 10-13 June.
The event, organized by the Television and Cinema Film Producers Professional Association (TESİYAP), is being realized under the auspices of the Culture and Tourism Ministry’s Copyright Department. Representing Turkish cinema at the Turkish Film Promotion Days will be actors Şener Şen, Hülya Koçyiğit, Mine Vargı, Ömer Vargı, Özgü Namal, Mahsun Kırmızıgül, Fadik Sevin Atasoy and Kenan İmirzalıoğlu. The films to be shown include ‘Eşkiya', ‘Gelibolu', ‘Beynelmilel', ‘Pars-Kiraz Operasyonu', ‘Takva', ‘İklimler', ‘Kabadayı', ‘Yaşamın Kıyısında', Mutluluk', Umut', ‘Yumurta', ‘Susuz Yaz', ‘Beyaz Melek', ‘120', ‘Kader’ and ‘Bayrampaşa'.
