Bursa Book Fair to open
Held this year for the sixth time, the Bursa Book Fair is opening on 1 March at Bursa’s TÜYAP Fair and Conference Center in a cooperation between Tüyap Bursa Fuarcılık and the Publishers’ Union of Turkey.
Organized with the participation of some 200 publishing houses and CSO’s, the fair will offer a wide array of topics and activities, including lectures, interviews, panel discussions, poetry readings and reading hours in a total of 81 cultural and literary activities featuring 300 writers, artists, scientists, journalists and politicians as speakers. Fifteen activities for children will also be on offer, including interviews with writers, reading hours and children’s theater, during the course of the fair which runs through 9 March.
