Istanbul biennale goes to Mersin
The International Istanbul Biennale is putting its signature on an art and culture project to be realized in various regions of Anatolia.
Undertaken with the support of the European Commission Turkey Delegation, the project is called ‘Culture Movement'. Mersin will be the first stop of this project, which includes interviews with performers, critics and curators as well as panel discussions and video presentations. The first of the events, to take place in March and organized in a cooperation between the International Istanbul Biennale and MarinaVista Güncel Sanat Ortamları, is a panel discussion, ‘Making Art in the Public Arena'. On 8 March there will be a special interview with the curators of the 11th International Istanbul Biennale, Ivet Curlin, Ana Devic, Natasa Ilic and Sabina Sabolovic. Through 15 March.
