Another innovation from Turkish Airlines
Making it its mission to give its passengers the best service at all times, Turkish Airlines continues every year to expand and develop its self check-in service, which was introduced in November 2004 with three kiosks at the Istanbul domestic terminal.
With a total of thirty kiosks in use, self check-in services are now available in the domestic terminals of Istanbul (Ataturk Airport and Sabiha Gökçen Airport), Izmir, Antalya, Dalaman, Ankara, Bodrum, Adana, Gaziantep, Samsun, Trabzon, Konya and Kayseri airports as well as at the international terminals of Istanbul Ataturk and Ankara airports. Efforts are also under way to enable Star Alliance members to make joint use of the self check-in kiosks of other Star Alliance member airlines at international stations. Finally, besides being able to use a Miles&Smiles or any bank card for self check-in, passengers also have the option, instead of a bank card, of using their Reservation Code (PNR) or Electronic Ticket number together with their first and last name.
