Guitar masters
Akbank Sanat is hosting four master guitarists 13 - 31 May.
Jorge Cardoso, a guitarist, teacher, musicologist and composer and one of the most productive musicians of our time, will take the stage on 13 May, followed on 22 May by the award-winning young guitarist Anabel Montesinos, on 27 May by Carlo Domeniconi, the first guitar teacher at the Istanbul Conservatory who has created a musical language all his own, and finally, on 30 May, by Marco Tamayo, who is known as the ‘King of the guitar'. These four great performers will not only offer guitar enthusiasts a unique musical feast, but will also meet with their admirers in workshops to share their knowledge and experience.
