Flights to Antalya get under way from three destinations in Europe
Vice-Presidents and high-ranking executives of Turkish Airlines, which is starting scheduled round-trip flights from Antalya to Stockholm, Paris and Düsseldorf, briefed Antalya governor Alaadin Yüksel on the flights during a recent visit to his office.
The visiting delegation announced as well that Turkish Airlines, which introduced scheduled flights from Moscow last year, will be introducing new scheduled flights upon demand. The delegation also invited Mr. Yüksel to join the first flight on 1st October. Accompanying the Turkish Airlines delegation, which included Executive Vice-President of Commercial Orhan Sivrikaya, Senior Vice-President of Network Planning Akif Konar, and Vice-President of Marketing and Sales Nejdet Gürsoy, on their visit to the governor’s office were Antalya Sales Director Ömer Durna, the President of the Mediterranean Tourism and Hotels Association (AKTOB), Sururi Çorabatır, who played a major role in introducing the flights to Antalya from three points in Europe, and two members of the AKTOB Board of Directors, Erkan Yağcı and Yeliz Gül Ege. Announcing that the flights from Moscow would be daily, Sivrikaya said that the flights to Paris and Düsseldorf would be twice weekly and that to Stockholm once a week.
