40 Writers, 40 Neighborhoods, 40 Books
‘Istanbulum’/My Istanbul, a monumental 40-book project in which 40 select writers describe their Istanbul neighborhoods, is one of the projects making its debut at the 28th Istanbul Book Fair, October 31 through November 8.
Realized through a cooperation between the Literature Department of the Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture Agency and Heyamola Yayınları, the project promises an extended journey into the city’s recent history.
