TRT’s Tourism and Documentary Channel, which will be the definitive answer for Turkish documentary enthusiasts as well foreigners with four different language broadcasts, officially opened with a ceremony that took place on October 17 at the Izmir Adnan Saygun Center for the Arts. Attended by Turkish State and Deputy Prime Minister Bülent Arınç and by Ertuğrul Günay, Minister of Culture and Tourism, the event was colorfully hosted by uniquely costumed presenters of the new channel’s upcoming French, German, English, Russian and Turkish morning programs.
