Turkish Airlines Awarded for Growth in China
The Global Times, one of China’s top bilingual business newspapers, has chosen Turkish Airlines the “Fastest Improving Global Airline” in the world, according to the publication’s annual survey, voted by thousands of executives and families from around China. Mr. Melih Topuz, Director of Turkish Airlines in Beijing, accepted the award on behalf of the airline in Beijing on December 14. Mr. Topuz remarked, “This award marks the efforts of the Turkish Airlines team to tell China our exciting story. Recently, we have been recognized as the Best Airline in Southern Europe and one of the Fastest Growing Airlines in the World.” The Global Times decided to present the special award after noting a dramatic jump in votes for Turkish Airlines in their annual survey.
