Turkish Airlines’ Farewell to 2009 Party in Budapest
Turkish Airlines held a ‘farewell to 2009’ party for 150 invited guests in Budapest on December 15. In addition to the presidents of Hungary’s leading travel agencies and their spouse, representatives of other firms the airline works with were among the guests at the party, which was also attended by Turkey’s Ambassador to Hungary, Oya Tuzcuoğlu. Placing special emphasis on the 2009 global economic crisis and its many effects in his opening talk, Turkish Airlines’ Budapest Manager Levend Arısoy called on the agencies and business community to work together in 2010. The surprise of the evening was a 45-minute live routine by Hungary’s celebrated stand-up comedian, Fabry Sandor. Dinner followed, by live piano music.
