Two Concerts By The Cranberries
The Cranberries are going to be in Istanbul on July 22nd and at Çeşme July 23rd.
When instrumental sound merged with Dolores O’Riordan’s vocals under the name ‘The Cranberries’ in the early 1990’s, many people’s hair stood on end. The story continued happily up to 2001 from ‘Zombie’ and ‘Linger’ to ‘Ridiculous Thoughts and ‘Animal Instincts’. The group, which took a long hiatus without officially splitting up, came together again in 2009 for Dolores O’Riordan’s solo album concerts. The concert held at Trinity College Dublin in January of last year went down in history as the group’s first since 2003. Realizing how much they missed each other and being ‘The Cranberries’, Dolores O’Riordan (vocals), Noel Hogan (guitar), Mike Hogan (bass) and Fergal Lawler (drums) lost no time in putting out a new album: ‘No Baggage’. Together again after many years with their own individual experiences behind them, The Cranberries are back on the road with new songs as well as classics. The group will be at Istanbul’s Küçükçiftlik Park on July 22nd and at Çeşme Sea Side on July 23 as part of their European tour, which kicked off in Lille on March 5.
