Calligraphy Meeting In Istanbul
All those interested in the art of calligraphy should make their way to Cemal Reşit Rey starting on June 5th.
There they will encounter 180 works by women calligraphers from Turkey, Iran, Pakistan and the U.S.A. Yet another meeting awaits participants in the exhibition, which can be seen on the upper level of the Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall through June 20th: the ‘Women Calligraphers Symposium’, to be held June 5-6. The event, organized for the first time in Istanbul, acknowledged capital of the traditional arts, is going to pave the way for workshops in the city and bring many students to Istanbul.
