Agreement Signed For Joint Flights With Spanair
Under the agreement, Turkish Airlines will be able to put its ‘TK’ code on domestic flights by Spanair and the Spanair ‘JK’ code on its Barcelona, Madrid and Ankara flights. Turkish Airlines’ President and Board member Temel Kotil said that they greeted the joint flight agreement undertaken with Spanair with great pleasure and emphasized its importance for both airlines as they move to offer passengers more and better service with the synergy derived membership in the Star Alliance. Under the agreement, Turkish Airlines will be able to expand its extensive flight network of 120 international and 37 domestic routes to domestic points in Spain. Turkish Airlines currently has joint flights with 22 airlines and joint flight agreements with 15.
