Turkish Airlines Sponsors Emitt For 14th Time
Turkish Airlines has taken part with a special 130-square-meter stand in EMITT (East Mediterranean International Travel and Tourism Fair), organized this year for the 14th time by Ekin Fuarcılık. The fair, held in Istanbul February 11-14 at TÜYAP’s Beylikdüzü Fair Center, welcomed tourism professionals from 60 countries as well as upwards of a hundred representatives from towns and provinces in Turkey. Turkish Airlines’ CEO Temel Kotil, Ph.D., accepted a sponsorship plaque on behalf of the airline, which has supported EMITT for the last two years, at the fair which was opened by Minister of Culture and Tourism Ertuğrul Günay and Tourism Minister Zoheir Garrahah of this year’s ‘guest country’ Egypt. Turkish Airlines’ global concept stand won high acclaim at EMITT, one of the biggest tourism fairs in the world, and was awarded the prize for ‘Most Active Stand’ by this year’s fair organizers.
Friendly Turkish Airlines employees from the commercial departments as well as flight personnel toiled with indefatigable good nature in the stand area, briefing visitors about our Company and handing out support packages about the flight network, Business Class seats and comfort, sponsorship promotions, the Miles&Smiles frequent flyer program, Corporate Club advantages and medical tourism.
